The AL-1 that is used is one of the best analog simulations that you’ll ever be lucky enough to hear. A lot of this has to do with the Drive and Low Boost Controls that are used at the oscillator level.

 

When it comes to audio recording, you can use audio samples as raw material along with the HD-1 patches. You could also take advantage of the linear audio recording that comes with the synthesizer’s 16 track disk recorder. The recording process is incredibly flexible.

The effects on the Korg Oasys are above and beyond most other workstations. They are extremely extensive. The O-Verb may be the most popular effect on the Korg Oasys.

With Oasys, working with the audio and MIDI tracks are equivalent with using many computer based DAW.

The Oasys makes it really to organize Programs & Combos. You can organize them into seven internal banks along with seven user banks. They each have more than enough room, as you can store up to 128 programs or Combis.
